The motivations behind homosexuality are purely sexual and only those who are lost practice it, and the act itself cannot be founded on the principles of pure love and family as God had designed sex for. God says to be fruitful and multiply! Not have anal sex with men or for women to finger each other or do other shameful things for pleasure! I am sooooooo sorry for the bluntness, but a slap in the face is often good medicine for denial. What this means explicitly is that being gay is a sin. Not only that, but it is a sin that prevents forgiveness because it is a daily lifestyle that demands repetition, and not repenting from sin means no forgiveness and will lead to your destruction. Lust leads only to more lust and thus destruction is its natural conclusion based on your decisions to daily pick up lust instead of Christ's cross.
The main fact of the matter is selfishness and desire. When the arguments of sinful sexuality typically arise we have a tendency to think about "the person," and people often try to judge the issue only when it affects them personally, so they seek out justification instead of honest Truth. However, sin is a matter of God and human wants are not a factor, and neither is their unbelief. Regardless of how you feel or what you want, you must stop. All unmarried sex is a sin. The verse from 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says that all sexually immoral people will not be allowed into heaven, not just homosexuals. Furthermore, all true Christians give up their lives for the Lord. Some are called to die for Jesus passionately, while others have to give up their careers and still some (like me) do not marry because they are called to serve the Lord, but a married lifestyle does not permit the freedom of movement to go here and there and where ever the Lord calls them. So regardless of what they do and also regardless of how you feel, everyone must FOLLOW the Lord and keep their eyes on the Lord and show their love for the Lord in their lifestyles. They must be good fruit, for it says:
Matthew 7:15-20 "15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
In order to be saved you must empty yourself of all wants, flesh, and desires to make room for Christ, or else your flesh will combat Christ constantly and you will inevitably be resistant to His teaching and fail to reach your calling that He has planned for you. Being happy should not be contingent on pursuing your sexual desires because true joy and happiness come only from Christ. When you look at what I say, doesn't it seem increasingly irrelevant to pursue any desire at all? Pursue Jesus instead! He will forge a wonderful life for you. You do not have to go through all this work to find happiness because Christ is right next to you right now wanting to you listen to Him. For sake of hearing Him, set aside what is right and wrong and ask yourself...will being morally gay even make me happy when I could have Christ instead? Regardless of how we may feel about it, Christ calls us all to give up all of our wants, and being gay is no exception. Your rights don't mean a thing in the end because only Christ matters and what He says is LAW. This is why He said He came to fulfill the Old Testament laws and not to abolish them. Now how does this apply to homosexuality? Well, our world is ruled by people with power and money who are actually puppets for the wicked spirits at work in their hearts because they do not belong to Christ. They are granted power to change the world because Christians do not take a stand on what is moral anymore. So these people are able to confuse people with the propaganda they spread, and unfortunately they say many things that are not true and ultimately their way of life is antichrist. The reason is explained here:

Humans have a pack mentality. We are social beings and often cannot do anything unless we know it is acceptable. This is a proven Sociological and Psychological phenomenon. So when someone wants to do something they are unsure about, they often rely on the example or words of others, such as parents, pastors, or people who they trust. In your case you are reading my article. If you are in doubt, DON'T is usually the wisest answer. Lust has a way to consume because it is enjoyable. It is better to think about why you feel the need to know for a fact if it is right or wrong. This is because deep down inside you already know the answer: It is not how you were made, to have man lie with man and woman lie with woman. We all are born with a spirit likened to God's Spirit, which He used to create us to begin with. This spirit of ours is also a moral compass. When a person is about to do something wrong, they know so to surprisingly high degrees even when they aren't taught. This is why you are here reading this article. But the problem is that the world itself is deceived because it rejects Jesus Christ, so these people who talk about homosexuality as being good or acceptable to practice are not real Christians, and many of them unfortunately are evil wolves in sheep's clothing. Do not listen to them, but listen to your heart and hear what Romans (above) is trying to say. Those who wish you good will bear good fruit, and ask yourself constantly, if someone says something is right or wrong, "Is that person a good fruit of Christ? Can I even trust this person?"
Now to talk about the idolatry aspect of the verse from Romans. Sexual "lust" is idolatry of the flesh, and idolatry is to worship something. Worship today in the context of the verse from Romans above can simply correlate to "obey." For instance, when the lust hits you, you satisfy it as if it were a command. You obey the lust because it feels good. It rewards you for obeying so you are a willing subject to it. You "give" of your body to that lust to make it go away and it rewards you. You cause that lust to abate. In essence, your own body is being used like a Jewish animal sacrifice to end that lust sort of how they would abate God's wrath by sacrificing an animal. This abatement of your lust is the sin inside your flesh needing to be crucified just like Christ was crucified and just as those animals sacrifices were prepared for burning at the alter of God to bring the remission of their sins. Jews sacrificed animals to abate God, but you sacrifice your own flesh to your god (lust). The Jews were rewarded with forgiveness, and you (your flesh) is rewarded with pleasure and temporary abatement of the urges. But there is a trap with sin...it comes back! But Christ's sacrifice for you was FOREVER. Show Him you care and preserve the holiness of your body. Do not worship sex anymore.
Now these people who are unsaved are called "lost" and they are forced to live in their own idolatry because they choose to live without Christ. Thus they are enslaved to "worship" their every desire and all the rewards they get amount to nothing, for their every sin demands more sacrifices of themselves til they are consumed by sin and later by God's wrath for their resistance to Christ's sacrifice. God is allowed to get angry too because He sent His son to die...not accepting Christ is like saying that Christ death was as much vanity as it was unwanted! What a slap in the face. I'd be angry too.
Now here is another example for idolatry on a much more familiar domain. Fetishes! Fetishes have gotten to be quite common in today's hyper-sexual society. How men are today about breasts, feet, legs, butts (etc) are all forms of sexual idolatry. In fact if you Google a foot fetish it is called "foot worship!" Even the unsaved people can see that sexuality is worship! Why don't you? Theses people are placing the woman's naturally sexual (beautiful) body above the woman herself, which leads to a form of concentration on the body parts instead of on the woman and the love and the natural intimacy she brings into the relationship. This is both sexual idolatry and sex worship in its rudimentary (but more "accepted") forms. This is partly because the natural attributes of a woman can be more attractive to some people than others. But the degrees of this attraction should not be a focus, nor should a person give of themselves to it just to have it. This is where the desire itself pushes a person to "crave" or to "obey" what they like when it comes their way. And without Christ this "obedience" can never be stopped. This means the person is "dead to sins."

In this entire passage (located on the link above), because the people refused to glorify God and continued their lust and their idolatry of lust and worship of those sins, God punishes them all by actually letting them become consumed with sexual lust. God actually sends this lust as a judgment to those who refuse to properly give Him credit, honor and praise. In this way, their refusal to love and worship God caused God to turn them away fully, and without God's help and leadership people are attacked viciously by demons and by their sins which so easily consume their life. A demon's purpose is to prevent your salvation, and they are very good at what they do. Not being in Christ is too great of a risk. Your heart is speaking to you now and you obey your heart to find your answers about homosexuality. Do not give in, because Satan will gain a foothold in your heart by way of your desire. Give your life over to Christ. It doesn't matter if the issue is being gay or wanting to play hopscotch: Give your life to Christ regardless of what you want and let HIM show you the way. He is reaching out to you through me. Do no turn away, because turning back to Christ is so much harder than obeying in the here and now. It only will get harder to be saved the farther you walk away from Jesus. Every step you take away from Christ you must backtrack just to get to Him! And it is a long journey.
It is in this way Satan prevents us from coming to God because people have such a hard time surrendering their sin, and lust is #1 these days. Allowing yourself to lust is a release from the pressure and torture of desires that swell up inside of you. But don't you see that your desires are actually causing your confusion and stress? How can they be good? Your own desires which you are reading about now are already harming you emotionally, so you are better to pray them away and bask in Christ's love and forgiveness. Pray! Use my articles on sex addiction and another about praying lust away to help you develop a pattern of releasing your rising urges through Christ. Praying to God for release is hard because it does not provide the same quick gratification, but it will get easier and your heart will reward you with Christ's presence. You will see. If it fails then you can quit, but at least try. Now I can say that last sentence because I know if you put your best foot forward Christ WILL save you. SO try, try, try. Think of it this way as well: Choosing not to act on your lust right now will not make it disappear tomorrow. Try today, and if you don't like trying then the sin will still be there to act on tomorrow and the rest of your life, however if you act on your sin now then choosing not to stop will be much harder, so it is better to try. Do not worry. Making the effort will only make you uncomfortable-- the bad feelings and urges you feel are just that-- just feelings. They don't feel good, but when you choose not to sin for Christ's sake and for the sake of righteousness you store up treasures in heaven, and you will be freed someday. SO try, try, try!
To reiterate: there is a trap in releasing lust through acting on it sexually, because sex always causes more sexual desire because it's a feel-good phenomenon. People love to do what feels good. No man can lust only once, and neither can you "try" out homosexuality only once. It is a lie and a trap. Fight the urges because whenever you give in it is incredibly hard to rebound and find your footing in Christ again. This is partly because sex causes a dopamine cascade in the human brain similar to drugs like cocaine. It can even be an anti-depressant! So when sex feels good, it does so because your brain is being stimulated by naturally made "brain feel-good neurotransmitters." Cocaine, among other drugs, trigger the same kind of dopamine rises in your brain, which is why drugs also feel good, and is also why drugs and sex often go together. So would you try cocaine? Believe it or not, if you are a person who struggles with sex, then trying out gay sex will be very hard to resist if it turns out you like it. So don't try! Treat it like an addictive drug and stay away. Sexual experimenting always leads to sexual confusion.
BIBLE TRANSLATIONS ARE CHANGING?
I heard from a friend that his pastor said that Bible translations change over time based on societal changes (etc), and the pastor actually *justified* homosexuality on the basis that previous world issues revolved around abortion, divorce, female rights, and even female ministering, yet because none of those are issues today this stands to show us that we probably misinterpreted God’s view on homosexuality as well. What an erroneous take on the issue! Well the Jews changed too...for the worse! And when they did they fell under God's wrath and were punished, just as we are being punished now with AIDS, sexual promiscuity, abortion (murder), and overall societal and spiritual decay. Listen here! The world does not dictate right and wrong: GOD DOES. That pastor and others like him are exactly the false prophets mentioned below:Matthew 24:24

Revelation is clear that even the elect can be deceived and men like these are wolves in sheep's clothing. Can you imagine a pastor saying abortion is not wrong? As if God intended in His "very good" creation for abortion to take part in it when a woman doesn't want a child? When taken in the context of God and creation, these issues are still wrong. And this does not indicate a misinterpretation of God's word but a falling away (Apostasy). It represents the continual degradation of the church as it spirals into sin and the eventual progression to the Apostasy moments before the Great Tribulation of the End Times. Christ predicted that the entire world would continue to spiral toward sin like Sodom and Gomorrah had, for as it is written:
Luke 17:26-30
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
That last sentence is referring to Christ's Second Coming which we divide up into parts known as the The Great Apostasy (Falling away from biblical doctrine), the Rapture (Christians called to heaven but non-Christians left on earth), and the Great Tribulation (The Antichrist, the False Prophet, and the Beast rule the earth for 7 years and all must either turn to Christ or follow Satan). This means that the so-called "misinterpretations" are actually prophesied by Christ and are a sign of how Christians will lose sight of God and fall into sinful ways, eventually giving up Christ. Again, to reiterate, God clearly states that for man to lie with man is not just sin or detestable, but that it is an abomination and the two men must be put to death immediately. This is because the perverse nature of the sin captivates people of weaker faith, causing them to stumble in lust. In Old Testament days, sin was so rampant that the only way to prevent it from spreading was to kill the unrepentant people because they had no intention on changing and had no fear of God. They would bring ruination upon everyone.

Other passages, such as in Romans 1 at the top of the page have become hot topics because someone had said that the word :homosexuality" in Romans might have been referring to a "gay prostitution" practice only and not legitimate homosexuality. But this is entirely false. There are many reasons, but the two that stand out the most are how men and women had once practiced homosexuality in pagan temples with the temple prostitutes because they were taught that was how they should go do it. They were worshipping sex gods, so they would worship sex by going to the temple which had prostitutes there for that very reason. There is no semantic difference here. Gay is gay in the passage, regardless of how they had practiced it at that time period. Today, we have sex in bedrooms, that does not mean that 2000 years from now people will look back and say being gay is only wrong when a man or woman has same sex in a bedroom! The Greeks practiced homosexuality only with children. That was how they did it. People today just do things differently. Secondly, even if the passage did mean homosexual prostitution (which it doesn't) the Bible makes it EXTREMELY clear in many other places that all forms of homosexuality are sin and that the people who commit the sin itself deserve immediate death. The argument is moot by this point.

If so, then go back to the top of the article and ask yourself those questions again about where and what kinds of sex fit for the time periods and then ask yourself why?...For instance, if gay sex seems to have no proper place at the beginning of the world but does today, doesn't that strike you as strange? It doesn't make sense why a man and woman would be created for each other specifically only for homosexuality to be what God "also" intended now does it? If that is the case then why did God not make us all hermaphrodites? Why do men only have a penis meant to penetrate a woman and not the other way around? Not only that, hermaphrodites are 1/100 births and are considered weird. Obviously we were not meant to be bisexual. Now think of this: WHEN did homosexuality occur if it was not present at the beginning? I can answer that: It happened after the fall of man into sin. I hope this answers your question for good now.
